Work in Progress - Title TBD
This piece is a classic case of our process: a pile of materials that could’ve ended up in the landfill instead becomes the spark. We don’t begin with a name, a form, or even a plan. Just a set of repeating objects and months of possibility.
In this case, the PVC pipes began whispering “light.” Over time, they assembled themselves into fixtures — capped with mirrored PETG, aligned by magnets, and illuminated from within. Ten of them cluster into a triangle. Six triangles come together in a hex. Welded steel gives it shape. Bolts give it strength. Light gives it life.
As always, this one’s still becoming. We’re still solving the questions that come with public art: How much weight makes it safe? How can we move it without breaking our backs? How do we keep someone from grabbing the top and giving it a good yank? It’s not done — not even close — but this is the fun part.
Stay tuned as this piece emerges. Name, identity, and purpose will follow. That’s how we do.
